K.S Vishwas is a true demonstraton of courage and determinatoion. Its been three years that he has been working hard to make it big in the Paraswimming. At the age of 10 he lost both his hands by accidently falling on live electric wires. Unfortunately his father died during the same incident in his efforts to save son. Vishwas was in coma for more than 2 months after the incident and both his hands had to be ampiuted to save his life.
He has grown up to be a strong human being daring to challenge any challenge of life with Vishwas. Vishwas is not his name. He is Vishwas.
After winning 3 medals (Silver) in the National Para-Championship in 2015 at Belgaum he was selected by Sports Authority of India to represent India in the 2016 Speedo CAN Am Para- Sswimming Championship held at CANADA between 12th July to 17th July 2016. It was proud moment for all of us to see Viswas getting this opportunity.

His Coach T Mathew was there to guide him. For three months Viswas put his heart and body to prepare for this Champiosnship. by practicing about 8 hours a day. Paralympic Swimmber Sharath M Gaikwad , Mr. Sindhia of Karnataka Para Swimming Association and Mr. Sindhia and Mr. V.K.Dabaas of All India Para-Swimming Federation, and many others backed him and supported in each step of his to see it to that he gives his best in the championship
Vishwas gave all that he had and gave an incridible perfornance - He made all of us proude. He won 3 Medals at CANADA

He inspired thousands of people form this outcome. His story has created a wave amoing poeple with disabilities to think about Sports and in particilar Swimming.
While it is a huge accomplishment of collaborattive work and efforts of various organisation and valunteers and Donors we also know that this just a one small step towards a huge possibility of empowerment through Sports in India.
His story has inspired and compelled us to create more opportunities of providing training in swimming for more people with disabiliites.
